Michael and the Panda team saved the day for me. My boots that I bought from another shop were hurting my feet. He spent real time with me understanding the issue and came up with a great solution at a reasonable price. My boots feel amazing now.

I got some great socks, boot driers and a very cool bag that I can fit my ski stuff in that fits in an airplane overhead bin. The shop really has everything you need.

Shops like Panda offer something that you can’t get anywhere else. That’s a very high level of experience, knowledge and customer service.

It would be a mistake to shop anywhere else.

This 5 star review is for Duke who helped me during my boot fitting. He went above and beyond to ensure that the fitting was the right one for me. In the end the best boot for me given my measurements/needs/skill was not in stock but he even made a couple calls to find me a boot at a shop near the resort I’m going this weekend.

This really goes to show how much more important it was for him to find me the right boot than to sell me something at the end of the day. This is exactly what you want for such a big purchase.

If you’re lucky enough to have Duke be your boot fitter, rest assured he’ll find you the best boot for your specific needs.

I bought a pair of Solomon ski boots here about a month ago. Duke was fantastic and spent a lot of time helping me find the best fitted boot and then heating the boots for a more customized fit. I wasn’t wearing my ski socks or leggings so unfortunately the fit ended up being a bit off. When I returned about 4 weeks later Mike was more than happy to help me refit the boots. He was incredibly helpful and clearly knowledgeable. I would highly recommend purchasing ski equipment here and asking for Mike. It takes me about 60 minutes to get here from my apartment and it is well worth the trip!

Amazing workers! They make sure to find the right equipment for you. It clearly shows how passionate they are at their job. As I was browsing at the ski section I saw how the workers were putting so much effort to make sure that their customers are satisfied with their ski boots. The store felt very homey. If you are planning to get snow equipment this is the place.

I needed new ski boots and was a bit hesitant to trust a shop in the city, but Panda was incredible. I went around 1pm on a Friday in mid-January and was helped almost immediately. I was fitted by Duke and had a really wonderful time chatting with him as he took various measurements of my feet, ankles, and calves; talked me through two different boot options and why he chose them for me; and fit the boots to me, which included heat molding them.

I skied in them this past weekend and they felt better than any boots I've ever worn. I'm so grateful to Duke and would absolutely recommend him again and again. Just know that you might be there for a couple of hours, since they take such meticulous care to find the right fit. And be sure to bring knee-high socks for yourself!

Hands down the best boot-fitting experience I've ever had. 10/10

I read all the five star reviews and commuted for an hour to see if they lived up to the hype. Can confirm the reviews are spot on. One of the last great American mom/pop retailers. Daniel worked with me past the store closing time to get a ski boot that fit just right. Really happy to see that customer service like this still exists. Definitely recommend Panda if you are anywhere near the NYC area!

Panda Ski is the best. I've been dealing with them almost since they opened (38 years ago.) My friend and I just bought new boots from them (Nordica HFs) and Robert (the owner) spent 90 minutes with me and over 2 hours with her getting the fit right. I can't recommend them enough. One tip. They are VERY busy on weekends. Get there BEFORE they open.
