I love this store. I feel like they have a decent selection of brands and outdoor gear. I have spent way too much money here over the years. They also have a good online store and can exchange or return items to the physical store. All the staff I’ve met here have been really nice.

I was gifted a pair of shoes and the person did not give me the gift receipt. They let me exchange for the correct size without any problems. The customer service is definitely amazing.

Check your receipts. I was supposed to get 20% off on a gun case, I even took a picture of the tag to show the cashier because they thought I was only able to get 13% off. I went out to my car and checked the receipt but price looked wrong. I went back into the store and asked them to help me understand and they stated that the receipt doesn't show all the details and on their end it shows that the discount went through. So I went back out to my car and added up the values of the products I purchased plus tax and I ended up only getting 8% off the gun case.

Ballet Blast

ALS has become my go to store for my family of 6. I can shop for all ages, great deals on name brand quality gear. I find myself going there to get gifts constantly too. I love the selection, the service and the prices. We are big fans at our house!

My Mom spent thousands of $'s here for Christmas for her 47 grandchildren . She got a few sizes wrong. Al's won't let us return these product for a different SIZE!!!! What a joke, tags still on them and everything. Thanks for the gift Mom, thanks for making the gift unusable Al's!

Don't waste your money here. No wonder Amazon is taking over.

All I'm hearing is crikets, still have 2 unused items, Al's owner, a response would be nice.

Honestly some of the coolest and best worker interactions I’ve had in a long time. Spencer was super helpful with deciding on what pair of waders to get as well as super knowledgeable on other pros and cons. Mitch was phenomenal when checking out after I started asking more questions. Both were very personable and great people to chat with!

Honestly super disappointed in their “Corporate night”. They had a QR code to scan that would take you to a website that let you scan tags and give you a sale price. Great in theory, but maybe 1 out of 10 scans actually worked. I spent a half hour scanning tags until I just got so frustrated and left without buying anything. Which is extremely unfortunate, because I love the items they carry and would have spent a good amount of money had the system actually worked. Many other customers were frustrated with the same thing. I just don’t understand how this could happen without anyone trying it and realizing the system didn’t work.

I came on black Friday to get a good deal on some new ski boots since my old ones had broken. I had to go find a worker to get me boots rather than him come up and help me and he told me I was a 25.5 (I am not) when I tried them on i told him they were a little small and he said that's how they should be (they should not). I gave them to the ski shop in Al's to get them mount them to my skis and when I got them back they no longer fit. They were excruciatingly painful to the point I couldn't even walk and I didn't understand why cause they were fine in the store. Later found out the boot clips moved into different positions but no one at all had even thought to tell me of this fact at al's. When I went in to return them the lady at the front said I couldn't return the boots and I needed to exchange them. After spending 30 minutes looking at new boots which again I had to find someone to help me I went to the front to exchange them. The ski manager said I couldn't exchange because I had put them on outside and they had been mounted onto the skis which caused them to be "used" which means they couldn't take them back. Everyone at Al's was very rude and had horrible customers service. If you need boots go to a ski shop because Al's is NOT a ski shop.

Went in to the Orem store to buy kayaks for our kids for Christmas. We had a couple of questions on Black Friday prices and your manager Nicholas (possibly from water/winter section) was super helpful and knowledgeable. Really appreciated him helping us.
