The staff was great, the store is well organized and the fitting rooms were very clean! Lots of sports items still available, Saints, LSU, the Pelicans, Tulane University, etc. Good sales are still going on now!

Academy has great prices. Was able to get some Magellan winter boots for $30. I have gone here many times in the past to buy all sorts of things. I wish they were in Ohio.

Great sales, always in stock of things we are looking for. Customer service is excellent. Only had bad interaction twice with same person. Figured the 1st time she was having a bad day, second time, nope, she truly is rude and abrupt. If I have to check out with Brittani again, I will wait for next register, I'll just let the person behind me go first.....

Very rude manager she refused to honor the policy and refund me for a broke up bike my son didn't even ride it once and then she called up the police because I told her that I was going to call corporate for her rude actions. Please do not buy a bike from here!!!!

Very poor customer service ? never have anything you want in stock. I purchased my husband some camo steel toe work boots by Justin's and tried to return them, which I've never had a problem before due to the policy and the warranty that Justin has for their products. Well this Academy sports didn't even accept Justin's return warranty told me I had to find the manufacturer I'm pissed ? my house only got 2 weeks wear out of them you can check the bottoms which I tried to show them and clearly see he barely used them.

This Academy Sports + Outdoors store never disappoints me. Every time that I'm looking for something specific and go there, they always have it. You can literally get anything from them. From gym clothes, school clothes, shoes and backpacks, sports clothes, tennis shoes, hats, FR(fire resistant) clothes,steel toe boots, to firearms, fishing, hunting gear, in fact, anything! LOL

Did not appreciate my experience at all at Academy Sports this evening and I never plan to return after my experience. I went to pick up my order and the way I was treated was unacceptable. I checked in and waited for my purchase an associate came over to the car with my order. I held my phone out and asked her did she want to see my ID and code. She said yes and I held out my ID and displayed the code. She then asks where is Mrs. Sweet? I said excuse me I am Mrs. Sweet. She says your name on the your ID is different. My maiden name is on my ID. She asked do you have another form of identification? I said Ma’am I have a code from the purchase to pick up the item. Not only that but my credit card that I made the purchase with. My husband mind you is in the car even he starts looking at her like huh? She even asked me at one point to verify my address?!. I asked her what are you insinuating here? She says I’m just doing my job and I understood that but the nature of the behavior was definitely off putting and excessive. Even though I had my credit card, ID, and the code it still wasn’t enough. I basically needed to show my social security card, 2023 taxes, and mortgage payments to get a pair of WORK BOOTS!!!!! I NEVER had this experience before. I use pick up services all the time in several other stores as well regularly and never EVER had this experience. I believe it had nothing to do with my identification and everything to do with something else. I will never return to this location again.
